Over the years, Christopher Banke has worked hard and he has accomplished a lot. For example, he became the first American to successfully compete in the RSV 2000 World Championship the category of IPO 3- handler-owner trained (HOT), with his dog, Iriac vd Maineiche. Later, Christopher's dog, “Dino von der Maineiche,” received the 2nd highest Schutzhund/IPO 3 trial score in US history, reaching 297. Dino also featured prominently as a guard dog in the 2008 Oscar-nominated film, “Frozen River,” directed by Courtney Hunt.
It may surprise people that the relatively young Chris Banke has been training dogs for over 30 years, but he started early when it came to training dogs. He was only 15 when he got started and he wasn’t even 20 when he established his own very large dog training facility in northern Vermont, which is still going strong after three decades. Not long after, he set up his own breeding kennel, which has been equally successful. Chris Banke work as an independent trainer for pet people in all walks of life and his experience makes him one of the best.
